A friend shared the ad on Facebook. And i instantly liked it!
The commercial is for Chryslers, 2013 Dodge Dart. Quoting from Wieden and Kennedy‘s, the agency behind the commercial, website, ‘‘This 90-second spot is a rapid-fire “instructional” on how to make a world-class car today, providing an inside look into the Dodge brand’s approach to designing and engineering its entry into the highly competitive compact car segment. There’s the starting from scratch, the angst and pressure of the blank page, and the trials of the early stages. There’s a lot of coffee, a lot of personal sacrifice, a lot of making things and breaking things and starting again until we get it right.” …
while the spokesperson for Chrysler put it simply, ‘‘the ad captures the process of starting with a simple idea and developing it into a revolutionary car.” And yes in case you loved the foot tapping background score, it’s Jay Z and Kanye West‘s, No Church In The Wild. Goes smoothly with the fast pace visuals. Making a car might be easy, making a slick commercial is not!
The commercial debuted during last months Major League Baseball All-Star Game on FOX.
