Bagdadi, Colaba.

At first when i heard the name Bagdadi, i thought it must be some posh restaurant. Because it was based near Colaba Causeway, one of the hippiest hang out places in Mumbai. Leopold Cafe, Cafe Mondegar are all situated in this lane.

You will never regret eating out here, said my friend. Chalo then lets go.

Wtf! i blurted out when saw it for the first time.

The hotel may not look inviting from the outside, but once inside i realized why the¬†ambience¬†doesn’t really matter to the owner, and the customers. A look over the table on some of the plates getting emptied, i knew it was a non-vegans paradise.

Chicken Fry Masala (2 huge breast pieces), Chicken Stew ( 2 huge breast pieces), Paneer Tikka Masala (the best i have had) accompanied by four humongous rotis i have ever seen. All for Rupees 215 only, and we were full. The menu has little for vegans but non vegans will be delighted. Fish, beef, chicken, mutton everything is there. Variety.

Qucik service, Cheap and value for money, Cash payments only. Worth a try!
